Ancient DNA Unit

The Ancient DNA unit (ADU) is based at Stockholm University and Uppsala University, and is also part of SciLifeLab and Swedigarch national research infrastructures.

Our services:

Ancient DNA provides analysis of e.g. human, animal, plant and sediment material with regard to both laboratory processing and data analysis. Develops new services both together with ArchLab staff at the Centre for Palaeogenetics (CPG) and internally.

Our equipment:

• Clean room laboratories for processing ancient and historical DNA
• Post-PCR laboratories
