Function: AFL: Elemental and structural analysis, analysis of crystalline materials, material analysis with FT-IR spectroscopy, analysis of organic residues, isotope analysis (carbon, nitrogen, sulphur), phosphate analysis, conservation of metal objects, trace element analysis.
Equipment: AFL: Lab space for sample preparation and analysis, different microscopes, specialised ovens, 3D-scanning and printing equipment, ICP-MS, GC-MS, SEM-EDS, XRD, pXRF, FTIR, microtome for thin sections.
